The story also inspired the most recent instalment of The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. Marie then tells the horrifyingly true story of Michael Taylor, which became a notable case in Ossett, England in 1974, as a result of his alleged demonic possession that drove him into a murderous rage, killing both his wife and the family dog.
