In today’s climate where we have such a large percentage of folks over the age of 65 it has been reported by the US department of Health and Human Services that nearly 70 percent of those people will require long-term care. So what does long- term care mean and how does that translate to our seniors of today? Well, it has many levels to it and we hope to make it a little easier to understand. In today’s episode we’ll be expanding on the difference between Assisted Living and Memory Care but first lets take a brief look at the history of senior housing to illustrate how these concepts have evolved.
