In February 2023, 22-year-old German tourist Nick Frischke vanished while hiking the Karbonkelberg trail in Hout Bay, Cape Town.
What began as a missing hiker case soon turned into a suspected robbery and possible murder, with gang ties and stolen belongings linking five suspects to his disappearance.
But Nick’s body has never been found. In this season opener of Unsolved Murders SA, we reconstruct his last movements, the investigation, and the haunting questions that remain unanswered.
