great book i will look forward to more shifter romance from this author,

I really wanted to like this book
I really wanted to like this book. But, her writing doesn't make sens. It's set in moden day times and yet the main character talks as if she is in another era. I haven't even been able to get half way through the book because it bothers me so much. I'm setting it aside and will try to read it again because I do like the overall concept of the books.

Discerning, Discriminating Tastes
This was an exciting and exceptional story and one which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. Certainly, a book I would have no hesitation in recommending.
It was the acquisition of Duvert by Scutes that had beckoned Jillian to leave behind the life she had known. Heading up Scutes new design studio, Jillian wonders if she will ever really call the place home. Gregory respected Jillianâs honesty and while he had offered her the job, he was sure she was going to refuse it. Jillian was used to speaking her mind at Duvert and it had become a habit, but if there was a line to be drawn between her business life and her personal life this was the time to draw it. Gregory was going to pose her a challenge unlike any other she had ever known; there was no doubt about that. So much of Gregoryâs life had been about clothing, which he realised was a kind of language, and while he and Jillian had a business relationship, they had their differences. Gregory is determined to show Jillian the city, both her world and his, but when he takes her to one of his favourite night spots, and she sees him in dragon form, she immediately thinks how handsome, strong, powerful and commanding he is, and this changes the boundaries of their relationship. Rhusek, Gregoryâs Salamander, has never made his presence known to other women, but he senses there is something different about Jillian; Gregoryâs feelings are deeper and stronger. After all this time, after countless women, Gregory knew that Rhusek would now call in his debt. Why did it have to be Jillian, but he already knew the answer; she is the one who is truly important to him. Gregory asks Jillian to marry him, but for all he is saying to her, there is something else he is not. Gregory does have something important to say to Jillian and asks for her trust. Rhusek makes an appearance, turning Jillianâs world upside down and all she can think about is the fact that Gregory is a fraud, cheat, fake and a liar; not the man or the dragon she thought he was and wants no part in his manipulations. How could he do this to her, how could she not have known him; was her judgment really that poor? One day had changed everything for Gregory; he thought he had found the love he never expected to find.
