Khoree 'The Poet' is a Contemporary Spoken Word/R&B Artist who delivers clever, thought-provoking, mesmerizing poems with silky smooth music that leaves his listeners applauding, talking, laughing, and gasping while his eloquent words take them on an exciting and unique lyrical journey.

Khoree’s poems are about uplifting, empowering, and encouraging women to not give up on love and/or hope. His sensual style and delivery is fused with Jazz/R&B instrumental elements, accompanied by smooth background vocals. Khoree is creating quite a stir with his deep Barry White toned voice, blended with an aggressive Teddy Pendergrass attitude and style of poetry setting him apart from other poets in the entertainment industry, and several promoters are taking notice. 

The Gospel Single, Thank You, featuring Lenny Williams, was recently released in April 2018. The single was produced by Levi Seacer (New Power Generation and former Music Director to Prince.)

Additional releases include the 2016 The Love Movement CD with includes 3 singles listed 'For Your Consideration in the 58th Annual Grammys. The CD is produced by Saxophonist Ric Alexander (Tony Toni Tone), Producer Andre Rivers (who has produced 13 gold Records), and Guitarist Levi Seacer (Musical Director for Prince).

A few of Khoree's most recent accomplishments - 3 times First Round Ballot for Grammy Nominee (58th Annual Grammy Awards), Sold Out shows at Yoshi's, Historical Bal Theater & KBLX Stone Soul Concert. Additional shows at nationally acclaimed  Tommy T's (5 shows), San Antonio Culture FestTony Rock Birthday Party (BET Awards Pre-Party) ... as well as the opening act for notable artists such as R. Kelly, Bobby Brown, Gladys Knight, Keyshia Cole, Fantasia, and more.
