The Enfield Poltergeist is one of the most famous poltergeist cases in history. The activity occurred at 284 Green Street, a council house in Brimsdown, Enfield, London, England, between 1977 and 1979. This case has been investigated by the Society for Psychical Research (SPR), members of the Committee for the Scientific Investigations of Claims of the Paranormal (CSICOP), Ed and Lorraine Warren from the New England Society for Psychic Research, and several different stage magicians. It has inspired several movies, TV shows, books, and even a few plays.
