Description

Last night, American Airlines Flight 5342 was traveling from Wichita, Kansas when it collided with an Army Black Hawk helicopter -- causing both aircrafts to plummet into the Potomac River. The explosion, which is believed to have killed 60 American Airlines passengers, 4 crew members, and the 3 soldiers aboard the helicopter, sent shockwaves across the globe — leaving many confused as to how this was able to happen.

'America Reports' Co-anchor John Roberts is live from Potomac Park to break down what we know about this devastating crash thus far.
