Yip Man and Bruce Lee are iconic Wing Chun men, but they weren’t the first to Recognized Nationally.


The Chinese Martial Arts are filled with legends.  To which we will look at the grains of truth that creates a legend.  Certainly, Yip Man and Bruce Lee captured boatloads of attention.


Speaking of boatloads, many excellent Wing Chun men were known to be on the boats of Guandong, moving transitly from town to town. Many of which used their skills as Red Boat Opera Performers, to make a living in the 19th century.


In this episode, for members only, till released next week, is about the first nationally recognized Wing Chun Practitioner, and he was none of the above, he was an assassin.
