In just his first season as the head coach of the GAC Softball team, Dave Martin has already made an impact on campus. Coach Martin arrived at GAC after coaching in California. He quickly hit the ground running and established a new culture for our softball program.

This season the team came together and made a strong push towards the playoffs at the end of the season. One of Coach Martin’s leaders on the team, senior pitcher Sydney Deardorff, has been instrumental to the Spartans’ success. Whether it is on the diamond or as the Senior High’s Service Prefect, Sydney Deardorff serves as a leader through her actions.
