The magic of a child / parent and life
Like "The Night Before Christmas" this is destine to be a classic. Many cultures around the world have stories around the time of the solstice. Andrew in beautiful Bard fashion weaves a tale of the Celtic culture between father and son. A beutiful story with so many levels for us to explore an bring the magic of our youth back to life for us. Opening the seeds planted of the Celtic Shaman's journeys taken, we see our first glimpse of the first Santa centuries ago. Then continuing with a father's open mind ; helping a child see new realm's in a colorful fashion. Showing all of us,that the world is not black and white or cut and dry.

beautiful journey and story!
By amazing bard, Andrew Steed, this book is a beautiful journey through the old tradition of the first Santa. I loved every word and see the truth in this telling. Many blessings and mysteries await in this story. You should read this book and share it with your children.

Wonderful story
This is a wonderful story that helps us all keep the meaning behind the essential character of Santa Claus alive for all ages.

Keeping Myth, Mystery & Magic Alive
A tender family story keeping myth, mystery, and magic alive as youngsters (and the not-so-young) navigate transitions in the "real" world. It honors the inherent wisdom of children to make choices for themselves and to determine when and with whom to share their sacred inner life. An endearing tale about being true to oneself - for child and parent. It's also a gentle introduction to the worldview of the shaman. The illustrations are as beautiful as the story itself!

The Santa Sidhe
I think the story is a beautiful tale which can reach the heart of the child and adult within every person. It is a very powerful tool to accompany the changes of awareness for those young people who are coming of age and those adults who are accessing their inner selfs.
I commend the author on his courage and trust to bring this into the world for it slashes across many audience genres and speaks directly to those who are seeking the truth. In addition, I smile at the joy of the Sidhe who are very happy to have it in print that they love their wee treats!
As someone who has been walking between the worlds for the last 20 years or so, I was delighted to read of the ancient concepts in a different perspective. It is great to be continually reminded of the potential for learning in the world and how our own personal traditions and customs can limit us if we fuel them. So I let go of some of my preconceptions and immersed myself fully in the wisdom of this tale.
I would recommend this book to all who are drawn to it.
