Back in 1919, a statistician by the name of Hugh Fullerton noticed something suspicious was happening with some of the players on the White Sox. They were trying to rig the 1919 World Series in return of a big pay day. In this episode of "Painting the Corners with Anton Schindler," we'll talk about the story behind the 1919 World Series, and we'll talk about the outcome and eventual banning of the "Black Sox" from Major League Baseball.
