The truth about the Founding Fathers: Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin. We all know the names of the famous founders. We've also all heard the hideous slander of them, accusing them of being racists who reveled in the ownership of other human beings. This couldn't be further from the truth. In this episode we find out the genius of the Founders in the creation of the Constitution, preventing slave-holding states from using their slaves to gain more power in Congress, and fixing it so the inevitable abolition of slavery would apply to those states as well. Don't believe everything you hear in public school or from your deluded college professors.
