The Good, Bad and Ugly Truth Shitposting!

Shitposting is the act of posting useless or irrelevant content to an online community such as reddit or facebook with the intention of making the community member think that the content is unimportant and then make them look stupid for doing so, thereby creating a schism amongst community members. A shitpost is a deliberately disruptive or nonsensical post inserted into an online discussion, usually in an attempt to derail or distract from the topic. For this reason it is frequently associated with trolling.
