Right now, we’re in a series called Secrets of the Kingdom: Stories Jesus Told That Change Everything.

Jesus often spoke in parables - simple stories with deep truths about God’s Kingdom and how we’re invited to live in it. Each week, we’re exploring one of these powerful stories and what it means for our lives today.

➡ This week, we had 2 parables:

🕊️The Grace of the Kingdom  - Matthew 20:1–16, Jesus challenges our sense of fairness with the parable of the workers in the vineyard. God’s grace doesn’t operate on what we think is deserved — it’s bigger than our prejudice and greater than our works. Salvation is a gift, and when we understand that, we can receive His grace with humility, rejoice when others are blessed, and freely extend grace to all.

💎The Value of the Kingdom  - Matthew 13:44 –46, Jesus tells two short parables about treasure and a priceless pearl — revealing that the Kingdom of God is worth more than anything else we could ever possess. When we see the Kingdom clearly, we’ll give up everything to have it. It leads us to seek His Kingdom, live in His peace, and walk in community through practices like prayer, worship, forgiveness, and obedience.

Each week, we gather to worship Jesus, open Scripture, and lean into what God is saying to us as a church. Whether you’re part of the Citadel family or just checking things out, we’re so glad you’re here.
