Description

Many thousands of years ago, a young boy was born called Hercules. Even as a young child he was stronger and more muscular than his friends and brothers. Everyone was sure that he would have a bright future as a warrior of the kingdom.

No doubt, he would one day be the general that commanded the whole army. Young Hercules and his friends would act out this eventuality as a game.

He would pretend he was the commander and send his friends out to fight imaginary armies and giant lions. Often, they would pretend they were being defeated and then Hercules would come along and save the day.

This was their game but it was simply forecasting the future. Like many of his friends, Hercules trained hard from a young age. They would run many miles together, swim for hours in the rough sea and fight with their wooden swords.

They all grew stronger and fitter as time went on. One day, Hercules father came to get him. They were going into a battle and he wanted his son to witness it for the first time.

Not to fight but to watch from afar and learn. It was important that he did not join the fight for as strong and fit as his son was, he was not ready for the battlefield. Hercules was shocked by what he saw.

He was led to believe that everything was easy and that his enemies would fall and die underneath the blades of his father and his army. He thought that victory would be easy but what he saw was like a horror show.

Limbs were hacked off, there were screams of pain and so much blood mingled with mud. The smell alone made him heave. This was not the glory that he dreamt of. No, this was darkness fighting darkness.

This was fear fighting against hope and the slim chance of survival. This was anger and hatred. This was sadness and pain. A few of his uncles were slain on that day and he witnessed them and their gruesome deaths.

For the young boy, this was a traumatic experience. But he stood fast, tears rolling down his cheeks as he watched the battle unfold. The horses crashing into men who were trying to defend.

Hercules wanted to turn and run. He wanted to pretend that this was just a dream and he was going to wake up soon. But he did not wake up, this was the reality of when darkness rules the world.

When men are guided by demons. When there is a complete absence of love and light. This was the reality of the world that he was born into. Standing there, he felt powerless.

Powerless to help and fight, powerless to simply run away. It was in that moment that Hercules understood his real purpose in the world. It was not to fight and conquer. It was not to destroy and kill.

No, it was to bring light to where there was darkness. It was to bring hope to where there was despair. Love instead of hate. That mission and purpose of his was far greater than simply fighting.

Fighting he understood and was good at. He could easily kill many soldiers especially as he got older and stronger. But, his new purpose as he saw it, was a much bigger challenge.

He would have to defy his father who was a warrior. He would have to go against the norm of fighting first and asking questions later. Now he knew why he was so big and strong.

Because his words would carry weight. Men would listen to him. It may take a while for them to come round to his way of thinking. But he knew that if it were not for the male ego, there would be less fighting.

If it were not men fighting ferociously to subconsciously seek validation from their father. Fighting and suffering because they didn’t feel good enough. Didn’t feel worthy.

Felt that the best way they could prove themselves worthy to their family and friends and village was to be a great and fierce warrior. To prove to themselves that they were worthy.

But this desire to satisfy these beliefs, did not come from a pure place. It came from a place of struggle and pain. It came from a place of darkness. Hercules did not suffer with these mortal, self-limiting beliefs.

He understood, despite his young age, that he was here to teach others. To make them aware when they were chasing validation. To make them aware when they were choosing to suffer rather than embrace the unknown.

And so began his journey on this day. It would take all his strength not to fight but to show empathy and understanding of his enemy. Even of his own people. It would be a tough battle because suffering was so ingrained in the people.

But he also knew that he had his spirit guides to help him and show him the way. Tell him what to say. He would speak about high vibration, high frequency. He would talk about the power of the mind.

The battle began there. Not on the battlefield but way before you even got up in the morning. When the mind was strong and the man was not a victim of his life. He would stand for something.

He would fight to stay in a high vibration of love and light. Rather than lashing out at those around him because he was consumed by darkness and fear.

Let go of the fear. Let go of the thoughts that you make up, that torment your head. Let go of the turmoil. Instead, focus on the power of your heart. The strength of love.

When we stop for a moment, we realise that we don’t have to react to everything. We can pause and allow our human brain to take back control.

The one that sees reason and understanding. The one that seeks a better world for everyone including themselves.

Hercules envisioned on that day, a world full of love and light and determination for his people to suffer less. Less fighting and war. Less death and destruction. Less anger and fear. And so his spirit is with all of us today.

Reminding us that there is a better way to live this life. One where kindness and understanding is our first reaction to any challenge we are faced with. One where we kill fear with faith and confidence.

We bring light to every dark corner of the world we live in. We fight with love and bring a little more joy into the world every day. Go out and fight this battle starting today.

I’d love a quick like and share to help spread my stories and lessons to others.

This is my latest book on Amazon called Billion Dollar Hack. It’s an exciting thriller.
