Very much so. The back stories of the characters keep you engaging with their problems.
What about Miranda Crandalls performance did you like?
She did very well.

When one of the girls sacrificed themselves for the other.

H.E. Joyce is a fantastic writer. This book was recently made into a movie. Supposed to be released in late 2016.
