Description

We return once again to the world of The Hunger Games with the newest release from Suzanne Collins - A Prequel! Titled The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (2020), and with some friends in tow, we discuss even more epic teen romance, poisons and snake people, and what's really going on with however you pronounce Snow's first name...

Extra special thanks to our guest hosts Lauren Hennessy and Paige Hollandsworth from the Podcast And Here's Why. You can check out what they do on Instagram @andhereswhy_pod

Come tell us about how YOU would outsmart a teenaged Snow (you nerds) by leaving us a review for us on iTunes - if you do, we'll force David to read it in a funny voice in our next episode (the longer, the better).

You can also talk to us on these Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook - we are @adaptedpod on all of those platforms.  If you want to suggest the next book-to-movie combo we should review, send us an email at stuff@adaptedpod.com!

I dont think Coryo got "broken up with" but rather Lucy realized his intentions and fled. He did come out of the shed with a gun and did shoot in her direction. I think his obsession with Katniss stems from not just his reminder of Lucy but of the danger someone like Lucy is to his existence. Lucy was likeable in the Capitol, she won the games in a similar way to how Katniss won and he saw himself become obsessed with Lucy. Eventually he obsessed with Katniss in a similar way which caused his downfall
