It’s not surprising when our cultural sexual education lacks information on how to give or receive pleasure. We lack role models, so we are left to figure it out on our own with varying degrees of success. It's the difference between playing Row Your Boat on the piano and Mozart. In this conversation with Sheri Winston, Author of Women’s Anatomy of Arousal, we discover what the anatomy books are missing, why it can be challenging for women to achieve orgasm, and why pleasure can be so uncomfortable to talk about. She invites us into the playpen, a safe place outside of our normal sexy time for us to develop learning games with our partner to help us improve communication, try new things, and fine-tune the things we find pleasurable.
