Renowned performance theorist, theatrical director, and NYU professor Richard Schechner, one of the founders of the Performance Studies department at Tisch School of the Arts, joins Tzuzamen to discuss a wide range of theatrical topics. He shares his experiences with Hinduism, compares theatre and religion, and explores unique performances, including Shakespeare adaptations in China. Schechner also talks about founding The Performance Group of New York, which later became The Wooster Group.
