Furns is joined by Ben and new contributor Clarkey (David) to review Round 7 in the A-League Men which saw Newcastle United Jets FC host Adelaide at McDonald Jones Stadium for the first home game since Round 1. 

Seeing as we hadn’t recorded an episode in a few weeks we jumped into talking Unite Round and the F3 Derby loss, then the away loss against A-League newbies Auckland. We then jumped into the game against Adelaide and talked about the starting lineup, a disappointing first half performance, some tactics and some relevant stats.

The conversation then turned to the goal in the game, a near equaliser, and then the red card. including two penalties, one for each side. 

We then turned to the Women’s team briefly by chatting their recent results and performances before previewing their away fixture against Sydney FC and the Men’s away fixture in Perth.

We will be unlikely to record prior to Christmas as Furns is moving house next week so we’d like to wish all our listeners and contributors a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and thank you for continuing to engage with our humble little podcast.
