The Kylian Mbappe transfer saga is in full swing. It initially appeared as though the French striker was content to play out the final year of his Paris-Saint Germain contract before joining whoever he pleases, likely being Real Madrid in the summer of 2024. Things changed when PSG ownership made it clear that either Mbappe signs a contract extension or they will sell him now. It is now on the player to make his decision in the next 1-2 weeks.

Real Madrid are now favorites to have Mpbappe's services when the summer transfer window wraps up for European clubs on September 3rd, 2023 but after spending an exorbitant amount on signings like Jude Bellingham and Arda Guller, they may not be in the best position to pull the trigger on the deal and English clubs like Manchester United or Liverpool could swoop and claim the striker for an almost certain nine-figure price.
