Description

In this episode we cover a lot of ground of terms that you may need to become familiar with for your LDN journey: sensory issues, having to do with our sensitivity to sounds, lights, tastes, textures etc. Executive function: having to do with our "OS" (operating system) and how efficiently we can organize, plan etc. Functioning labels: ie "high functioning" and "low functioning" autism, and how these are obtuse, dismissive and offensive descriptors. And lastly, we touch on stimming and RSD, rejection sensitivity dysphoria, which is an extreme sensitivity to rejection (real and perceived) that ND people tend to have.
