The Legacy of Charlie Kirk. And A Progressive Caller Says Charlie Was A Racist. Was He?
Update: 2025-09-12
Description
It doesn't seem real, does it? Charlie Kirk had so much promise. Taken from us way too soon. Who knows what the future held for this lion of a man? Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow is trying to make sense of it all. He knew Charlie personally. Charlie was inspired by the great Andrew Breitbart, and in many ways wanted to follow in his footsteps. Alex is going through all the emotions: sadness, anger, denial. Alex joins Mike to talk about Charlie's legacy. Washington Bureau Chief Matt Boyle is also struggling to come to terms with Charlie's death and he has some pointed words for Barack Obama and Democrats: step up and tell people to knock it off! That might be a tall order. Caller Andrea is a progressive and she says that although Charlie didn't deserve to die -- gee, how noble of you, Andrea! -- he was a racist. Yet when Mike asked her to give one example of Charlie being a racist, all she could do was point to his criticism of Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown-Jackson. But Andrea says her opinion is Charlie is a racist, end of discussion. That's the mindset we're dealing with. Can we ever come to a point where we can have a serious discussion in this country? If we can, maybe that's the real legacy of Charlie Kirk.
