She champions change and awareness through filmmaking and has produced Woven Threads an incredible TV series that shares the stories of refugees and reminds us that we are all human. Michi has been confronted with her daughters mental illness and has her own ongoing cancer fight. Michi remains positive, blessed and hopeful which is why she is truly remarkable. Michi is a change maker and for that we applaud her.
