Around late 2008 to early 2009, rumors and speculation started to brew about Rockstar releasing a standalone spin-off called GTA IV Stories. It was rumored that it would be a full standalone game, but ended up being scrapped for expansions like "The Lost and the Damned", "Chinatown Wars", and "Ballad of Gay Tony". What happened?
