Larry Towell is a photojournalist and member of the prestigious Magnum Photos Agency. He is also a gifted musician, songwriter and poet.

In this conversation with Stephen Mayes, former head of the VII photo agency and secretary of the World Press Photo, Larry Towell reflects on his journey and 40-year career as he releases the documentary film "The Man I Left Behind".
