There are moments when someone speaks and it doesn’t just inspire you.

It interrupts you.

It confronts the idols you didn’t even realize you were holding.

It exposes where you’ve been leaning on people instead of leaning on God.

And suddenly, something inside you whispers,

“If God doesn’t show up… I’m done.”

Not your work.

Today, I’m sitting down with Amb. Charlie Masala, a man who walked closely with my father, Dr. Myles Munroe, for more than 27 years, and someone whose life embodies faithfulness, loyalty, and the courage to follow God no matter the cost.

Our conversation goes deep.



We talk about obedience when it’s uncomfortable, serving when it’s unseen, navigating seasons of loss, and the moment God strips away every dependency so you remember who your true Source is.

Amb. Charlie Masala 

Born in the rural village of Manamani- Venda, Limpopo in South Africa, Charlie met Dr Myles Munroe at a young age. Under Dr Munroe’s personal mentorship of over 25 years, Charlie would become a renowned international conference speaker and management consultant.  As a Kingdom Teacher and Speaker Charlie has spoken on many global platforms and has travelled over 40 Countries around the globe fulfilling his life’s purpose.  Ambassador Charlie Masala is the United Nations Global Ambassador of Peace.   

Charlie practiced in the Human Resources Management field for over 10 years in different capacities in Corporate South Africa.  Charlie is also a Radio presenter on OchrioFM.

Charlie founded a Management Consulting Company,  Zoe Business Consulting in 2004.  He and his wife Xoli founded Kingdom Community SA in 2021 to teach the Kingdom message and build Kingdom Communities.

Charlie currently serves as Regional Ambassador and Board Member of the International Third World Leaders Association. 

Charlie is the CEO of Myles Munroe International Africa as well as a Board Member of the Myles & Ruth Munroe Foundation. 

Charlie also served for more than a decade as Head of the Macedonia International Bible Fellowship appointed by Bishop Kenneth C Ulmer.  He also serves as board member of Texas Women Empowerment Foundation.

As a Management Consultant, Conference Speaker, Trainer, and Facilitator, Charlie shares insights that add substantial value to any organization. He tackles subjects such as Diversity Management, Leadership in Transforming Societies and Organizations, Team Work/Building, Building Organizational Brands, Mentorship, Employment Equity, Discovering your Purpose, Labour Relations, Entrepreneurship, Youth Development and Leading Change. He holds a National Diploma in Human Resources (Tshwane University of Technology), Labor Relations Management Specialist Certificate (IPM), Leading Change Programme (University of Michigan Business School) and

Management Development Programme (University of Pretoria).

Charlie Masala’s dynamic presentations continue to earn him accolades from organizations such as Sasol, Barloworld, Development Bank of Southern Africa, South African Bureau of Standards, ABSA, Tshwane University of Technology, HP (Hewlett Packard) and many government departments and municipalities in South Africa. In 2021 Charlie and Xoli Masala founded a Kingdom Based ministry called Kingdom Community - South Africa based in Mnandi -Centurion.  Charlie has been name one of the top 100 influential Christians in South Africa.

Charlie Masala is a published author of two books; “Black Son White Mother” and “My Life and Times With Myles Munroe “ .

He is the husband of one wife Xoli and father of three girls; Zoe, Okona and Andisa.
