In this episode, host James E. Garcia welcomes singer and recording artist Isabel Marie Sanchez, who'll be performing in the Phoenix Pops Symphony presentation of "The Music of Selena," April 5 and 6, 2025, at the Orpheum Theater. Sanchez was the 2017 Tejano Music Awards Best New Female Artist and a 2022 Latin Grammy nominated artist. She's joined for today's interview by Christopher Powell, Vice President of Operations and Artistic Planning at the Phoenix Symphony.

“The Music of Selena” is a tribute to the “Queen of Tejano Music," Selena Quintanilla, and covers her iconic hits like “Dreaming of You,”  “No Me Queda Más” and “I Could Fall in Love” among others.
