i - in its lowercase format is a statement that highlights inclusion & individuality through the promotion of team effort, whilst accepting everyone’s uniqueness

R - represents Respect for all living beings and planetary conservation

I - represents Integrity which references the honesty and transparency in the products and the business

the E - represents Equity, whereby everyone should be considered for opportunities with the necessities of their individual circumstance in mind, giving each and every one as individuals prospects to succeed.

Leandra and Alicia launched LAiRIE in 2018, after years of sharing their creative vegan and vegetarian dishes with family and friends. Their passion for Caribbean-inspired plant-based cuisine started as a catering service in London and nearby areas. They showcased their flavourful dishes at private events, the 2018 Bedford Vegan Trade Show, and Christmas Artisan fairs.

In 2019, seeking new opportunities, they expanded to Northern Ireland, bringing their Caribbean vegan flavours to the growing plant-based community in Belfast.
