realization of physicists' dream of finding a Theory of Everything. It explains the mystery of
constants, a problem which Richard Feynman called “one of the greatest damn mysteries of
physics.” The mystery is that the numbers seem completely arbitrary with no seeming reason for
their values. From the perspective of physics, these numbers could have taken on any value
whatsoever. So how can physicists explain these numbers?
