The New Normal - Interview with Binna Kandola, Senior Partner, Perne Kandola
Description
Binna Kandola is a Professor of Psychology, has an OBE, is the author of nine books and is the world authority on diversity and inclusivity. He is also the lead parter of Perne Kandola, the worlds number one consultancy on diversity and inclusivity for team members.
In this episode Binna discussed what the impact of COVID19 has been on his business and what his response to the situation has been - both immediately as well as more longer term. One of the first things Binna describes doing is forming a 'crisis committee' to bring focus and priorities to the team and decide on actions going forward.
He goes on to discuss how all meetings, client delivery and coaching workshops have moved online using technology such as zoom - as well as hosting their weekly breakfast seminars via a webinar now, which is working better in fact, having generated five new clients from one!
Throughout the series we will be interviewing business leaders of various organisations about the impact COVID19 has had on their business, and what they have done to navigate their way through. It is designed to bring you actionable tips and inspiration as we all get used to the 'new normal' as we are calling it.
We also want to bring some positivity to the situation, and will be asking each interviewee about changes that have actually had an unexpected positive impact on their business, and ones that will be kept post lockdown or when things return to 'normal'.
