She creates large-scale installations with humble materials to investigate ideas of access, and belonging. Io's work is richly surfaced and walks the line between beauty and kitsch, borrowing from the decorative arts to lure the viewer into an exploration of existing architecture in order to question how spaces can divide, as well as bring us together.  Join us as we catch up with Io Palmer and learn more about her work.
