Description
The basic ideas that people accept are like a computer’s operating system. If the OS has bugs and is vulnerable to viruses, it wreaks havoc on the machine and its user. The same goes for a person’s fundamental ideas about the nature of the world, his means of gaining knowledge, and what he ought to do with his life. In this episode, Jon gives an overview of some of the ideas that have aided progress, and some that have hindered it.
