Christianity was originally called “The Way,” and Christians were given the title “Followers of the Way.” Though extremely simple, this initial description of God’s people has a profound revelation attached to it—especially when you consider that Jesus boldly claimed, “I AM THE WAY!” (Jn. 14:6).
