The Outsiders -2 Anarchy in the UK (Live from Kings Road, Chelsea)
Description
This week Mark and Zac meet up on the famous Kings Road in Chelsea, London to record their 'live' podcast. The reason this location was selected was its place as a famous backdrop to the revolutionary punk movement in the UK during the 1970's.
Punk was a radical movement against the establishment and government's failure to listen to or accommodate the growing disillusionment of its population based on its flagging economy and repressive systems. Resulting in the youth of that time feeling excluded and as a result causing a rebellion within society , the punk movement had arrived. Punk was created by and for societies 'outsiders' and a fitting topic for today's global issues.
Mark and Zac look back at their own experiences with Punk as well as discussing where the next cultural revolution may arise. Change is on its way.
