Whatever side you are on, it was a tough night for America.
Right now, the going consensus is that most of America is somewhere on the scale between angry and outraged. At least that’s what CNN and FOX would like you to believe.
In reality, my belief is that we’ve actually never been more United. (We are the United States of America after all.)
Contrary to popular opinion, I think we’ve actually become more and more United. We still hold to our unalienable truths while also embracing the new ones brought to us by innovation, wisdom, faith, science, and empathy. Sure, we have a LONG way to go and a lot to change, but I am confident we will get there.
