About The Real West – (Hallmark Channel, 2024)

• This movie was directed by Terry Ingram. Terry is a Hallmark directing staple with 94 directing credits. Just this year, he directed Gilded Newport Mysteries: Murder at the Breakers and Love on the Danube: Love Song. He also directed the forthcoming Three Wiser Men and a Boy.


• Lara Olsen wrote the script for The Real West. She has 16 writing credits, including 16 episodes of the series Reba, as well as Private Practice, Life Unexpected, Reign, and Spinning Out.


• Kimberley Sustad plays Rebecca. She will have a big Q4, appearing in two additional movies this year: Three Wiser Men and a Boy (which she also co-wrote) and The Santa Class, written by Russell Hainline.


• Lucas Bryan plays cowboy Jake. He has 36 acting credits, including Five More Minutes: Moments Like These, Time for You to Come Home for Christmas, and A World Record Christmas. He also had roles in Queer as Folk and a 78-episode run in the series Haven, available to stream on Prime.


• Marlie Collins plays Cassidy. She has 31 acting credits, including Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance and Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal. For Hallmark, she appeared in the 2020 movie The Christmas Doctor.


• Nicholas Holmes plays Noah. He has 23 acting credits, including voice work, a role in the Project Blue Book series, and the series Home Before Dark.


• Azriel Dalman plays Ollie. At just ten years old, Azriel has an impressive resume with 47 projects. He will appear in the Hallmark+ series Holidazed this season and has been featured in Shogun and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. This is his sixth Hallmark movie!


• Beatrice Kitsos stars as Jasmine. Beatrice has 11 acting credits, including The Babysitter’s Club, iZombie, and The Exorcist. This is her first project for Hallmark.


• James Denton plays Aaron. James has 58 acting credits and will reprise his role as Nelson King in Happy Holidays from Cherry Lane later this year. His additional credits include A Kiss Before Christmas, a long-running role in The Good Witch, and Desperate Housewives.


• Antonio Cayonne stars as Bobby. Antonio is a proud member of the “justice for” club, as fans patiently wait for Hallmark to award him a leading role. In the meantime, he’s keeping busy with 44 acting credits. He was recently seen on screen in So Help Me Todd and has appeared in UnREAL, several Darrow and Darrow movies, multiple Christmas in Evergreen films, and The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers series.


• Grandma Maureen is played by Linda Boyd. Linda is an acting powerhouse with 161 credits, including roles in Virgin River, Sullivan’s Crossing, Christmas on Cherry Lane, and An Unexpected Christmas.
