In this episode of The Bigspin, I sit down with Dan, founder and owner of The Ritual, a concrete fingerboard obstacle brand based out of Maine.

Dan is a lifelong skater whose early days skating the streets helped shape his raw, functional approach to design. He’s been fingerboarding since he was six years old, and while he may be newer to the concrete obstacle scene, his work is already standing shoulder to shoulder with some of the most established makers out there.

We talk about his journey from street skating to fingerboarding, how The Ritual’s signature style came to life, and why staying humble and authentic matters as the brand continues to grow. Dan also shares what it means to be selected as a featured vendor at Fingerboard Con this April, a huge milestone for The Ritual and proof that his hard work is paying off.
