In today’s Runcast, Hannah is joined by an incredible crew from the Strive team, who are out here in India supporting our charity partner Big Change. These legends took time out of their own adventure biking the Golden Triangle to swing by, lace up, and run a full marathon with Hannah… after deciding that morning to do it.

I (Joel) chat with them about why they’re raising money for Big Change, what brought them out here, what running means to them, and what it takes to say “yeah, sure, I’ll run 42 km on a whim.” They also share the advice they’re giving Hannah to help keep her going through 100 marathons in 100 days.

Hi, I’m Hannah, accidental runner, sustainability advocate and founder of the Better Business Network.

Project Salt Run is a world-first endurance expedition. I'm running 4,200 km across India, following the forgotten Inland Customs Line (also known as the Great Hedge of India) to raise £1 million for environmental action through 1% for the Planet, Frank Water, ClientEarth, and Big Change.

Starting on 26th October 2025, I’ve been running one marathon every day for 100 days, crossing deserts, jungles, and cities from the Pakistan border all the way to Kolkata, shining a light on how business and people can be a force for good.

This isn’t just a run. It’s a story about legacy, climate action, and courage  and how small groups of people can create big change.
