Homily for December 6, 2020, the Second Sunday of Advent
Isaiah the prophet is told to “Give comfort”, as God reveals himself as the savior of his people. John the Baptist continues this mission to call people to repentance. This Advent we are to be converted, so that we can in turn comfort God’s people.
