The Senate dashes the hopes of those still currently working without pay during the government shutdown

Description
With the government still stuck in limbo, there was some hope that at least those still forced to work during a government shutdown, as well as members of the military could get some relief. However, that legislation too went by the wayside, which means we're back to square one.
