but if you are threatened if you are in fear and you go to the police to try to prevent escalation of the situation don't look to them. sadly they could care less and it's not getting better it's getting worse. until you are a victim of a violent crime hopefully not dead but it's very possible that you could be dead, until that point law enforcement to give a f*** less. it's an epidemic and we women are on our own out here that's the message that I've been given many times
this is part two of my post it will make a total of six or seven times where I was in fear real fear because I don't go to the police unless I am in real fear, and they did absolutely nothing to help me nothing at all. the man pulled the bat on me just two days ago so this is pressing my mind listening to your podcast. this is the many years after the murder you're speaking of and they law enforcement still they don't care until someone's dead then theyll perfect candle vigil and release balloon
I appreciate your your podcast unbelievably much. I can't imagine how it must be for a person of color to receive help from the law enforcement, because I am a white woman in America and I have begged them for help and domestic violence situations multiple times and I had to leave the residents with my child when my ex-husband was allowed to stay at the residence. then the incident where a man pulled a bat out on me 160 lbs 5'3, and I was told by the law there's no law against holding a bat.
