The Substance Is The Finest Sicko Film at Its Finest
Description
Dennis Quaid is willing to play the repulsive and cunning TV producer on Afdah Movies. Moore and Qualley are brave for objectifying themselves and being nude. Throughout the entire movie, I couldn't help but laugh out and had to turn away at some really graphic parts. But there's a lot more going on in this place. Demi Moore plays the tragic character of Sparkle, a young woman with extraordinary beauty who is haunted by Sue's enormous billboard confronting her flat. Halfway through the movie, there's a critical scene in which Elisabeth wants to go on a date and looks gorgeous in our eyes, but her internalized ageism and misogyny handicap her. It's incredibly well done and tragically plausible. Her career-best performance is worthy of an Oscar nomination.
