The City of Austin is launching a pilot program to address repeat offenders with mental health issues, the Austin Firefighters Association says they're getting impatient with the city in regards to contract negotiations after a meeting was abruptly cancelled by the city with no explanation and the man who plowed through multiple vehicles on I-35 with an 18-wheeler that killed five people and injured nearly a dozen others is facing new charges.
