The Traitors US Season 3 Ep 5 Exit Interview
Welcome to RHAP’s coverage of ALL the Traitors iterations from around the world, including New Zealand, Australia, and Canada. The Traitors US is a high-stakes reality competition set in a secluded castle, where contestants must work together to complete challenges and earn a prize pot—while rooting out the secret traitors hidden among them.
We Know The Traitors is back with an explosive exit interview! Rob Cesternino and Pooya sit down with the recently eliminated Robyn Dixon to dissect her shocking departure from the game. As a veteran of reality TV, Robyn’s unexpected elimination leaves her searching for answers and reflecting on the cutthroat nature of The Traitors.
In this revealing conversation, Robyn shares her strategy to target Boston Rob and her frustration at being eliminated before she could execute her plan. She offers unique insights into the challenges of identifying traitors among 20 players, especially when facing off against seasoned strategic gamers. Robyn’s perspective as a Real Housewives alum provides a fascinating contrast to the gameplay of competition reality tv show veterans.
Rob, Pooya, and Robyn discuss:
• Robyn’s plan to expose Boston Rob as a traitor
• The difficulty of reading 20 strangers’ behavior simultaneously
• Contrast between reality TV drama and strategic gameplay
• Impact of late-game player additions on house dynamics
• Robyn’s surprise at Carolyn and Danielle’s deceptive gameplay
As the power dynamics in The Traitors castle continue to shift, Robyn’s elimination raises questions about the effectiveness of intuition versus calculated strategy. Will the remaining faithfuls be able to identify the true traitors before it’s too late?

Hey Rob here and this time of year, I'm all about trying to stay warm and cozy.
00:00:04
If I can avoid going outside any time of year, I'm doing it, but especially now, but when I do need to brave the elements or just look presentable on a podcast, I need clothes that feel cozy,
00:00:16
look great and don't break the bank.
00:00:18
And that's exactly what I get with quints.
00:00:20
You know, I love being smart with money, but I'm also picky.
00:00:24
Luckily quints is all about true quality at an affordable price.
00:00:27
They've got their iconic Mongolian cashmere sweaters that start at just 50 bucks, 50.
00:00:33
They're super soft fleece sweatpants that are basically a luxurious upgrade to your everyday loungewear and win resistant, responsible down jackets that'll stand up to the coldest days.
00:00:43
Even better, everything is priced at 50 to 80% less than similar brands.
00:00:47
How you might ask because quints cuts out the middleman and partners directly with the top factories passing the savings on to you.
00:00:56
And let me just tell you, my favorite quints find so far has been this really cool leather jacket.
00:01:01
It looks incredible, feels high-end and still came at a price that didn't have me clutching my wallet.
00:01:07
It's got a hood and it's quickly become my go-to look sharp, stay warm, piece this season, juryate in coziness without the luxury price tag, go to quints.com/robpod for 365-day returns plus free shipping on your order.

No, not the diet, resolutions.
00:01:38
A way for us all to try and do a little bit better than we did last year.
00:01:41
But my resolution, unlike big wireless, is to not be a raging **** and raise the price of wireless on you every chance I get.

00:02:11
While I've been looking for my phone for...
00:02:13
"Indax is domain, we see all, so we always know what our cars are worth."
00:02:17
"All of them?"
00:02:18
"All of them."
00:02:19
"Value surge, truck's up 3.9 percent."
00:02:22
"That's a great offer."
00:02:24
"I know, sell."
00:02:25
"Sell."
00:02:26
"Track your car's value with Carvana Value Tracker today."
00:02:30
Hey everybody, what's going on, Rob Cesternino?
00:02:44
Back for Trader's exit interview, and we haven't been getting any of the housewives or people from the Bravoverse for our exit press, but we actually do have an interview with the latest person who was murdered,
00:02:58
it's Robin Dixon, she goes from R-H-O-P to R-H-A-P as we will check in with her about everything that happened in her game on the Traders.
00:03:07
Of course, Pooja and I got into everything with our episode five recap.
00:03:11
You can hear that in our podcast feed.
00:03:14
We know Traders.com, for that we'll also have a feedback show.
00:03:17
If you want to send in your questions to robaswebsit.com/tradersfeedback.
00:03:22
We have Robin on the line.
00:03:23
Let's go ahead and patch her in.
00:03:25
Hey everybody, Rob Cesternino back here with Pooja and we are speaking with gone too soon.
00:03:34
The great Robin Dixon is with us, Robin.
00:03:38
How are you doing after being so unceremoniously murdered by the Traders?
00:03:45
I mean, you know what?
00:03:46
I was like, I knew it was coming, of course, I knew my fate, but when I watched the episode I was like, that's all I was like, can I get an explanation?
00:03:55
Can you like, why did you murder me?
00:03:57
You just randomly was like, let's kill Robin.
00:04:00
No, I needed a little bit more so I was a little bit, I was quite disappointed and I was like messaging Carolyn last night like, why don't you all murder me and what did she say?
00:04:12
She said I didn't want to murder you and that was like all she had for me.
00:04:16
I was like, there's got to be a reason why you picked me that day because I was actually, I was going to get Rob out that night.
00:04:26
Like after the round table the night before with Bob the Drag Queen, I was like, Rob is a Trader, Bob's reaction, Bob the Drag Queen's reaction was, it was,
00:04:36
it was so intense compared to Bob's reaction to Dylan calling him a Trader or I've a calling him a Trader.
00:04:42
Like the way that Bob reacted, I was like, oh, I know what just happened here.
00:04:47
So I was going to get Rob, Boston Rob the next day and so when they murdered me, I was like, oh, so mad, I was like, I like, they better get him.
00:04:58
They bet like I swear, Bob, Rob better be vanished and he wasn't so anyway, but I was very disappointed that they just murdered me, it was like they just picked the name out of the air and had no reason murder me.
00:05:13
But this had to have been a tough season for you looking at Durinda and I on going back to back.
00:05:19
You're like, I want this franchise to why y'all looking at us like this.
00:05:23
I mean, you know what?
00:05:24
And I'm, so I come from, I've been on Real Housewives for eight seasons.
00:05:31
And when we show up in front of a camera, we're just here to make TV.
00:05:34
And so when they were taking out good people who make good TV, I'm thinking like, what are it?
00:05:42
Like, no, like, if you want to murder them, like just wait a little bit while longer.
00:05:46
We need like the good soundbites.
00:05:48
We need, you know, the drama, the interaction.
00:05:51
Like, why are you murdering us?
00:05:54
Because we're going to bring the drama and, you know, but I guess the gamers had a different idea.
00:06:01
They want to just, you know, kill people just to be killing them.
00:06:04
And they weren't thinking about, you know, the entertainment value that we bring.
00:06:08
So I was just like, come on, like, they couldn't have picked the house.
00:06:14
Well, that was so overdone.
00:06:16
It was just that it was a disappointment that they chose that route.
00:06:20
But I understand why they did it because of how last year was still Robby took out really good people.
00:06:26
What did you know about these gamers before you came in to go and play traders with them?
00:06:31
Nothing.
00:06:32
Like, not a thing.
00:06:33
The only one that I was ever familiar with was Boston Rob because, you know, I remember him from, like, he was on the very first season of Survivor, right?
00:06:41
Early days.
00:06:42
Yeah.
00:06:43
Yeah.
00:06:44
Really early Survivor.
00:06:45
So of course, I just remember him from that, but I didn't keep up with him.
00:06:51
I had never seen any of the other ones.
00:06:54
None of them.
00:06:55
Tony, Danielle, Carolyn, Jeremy, you know, like, they were all new to me.
00:07:00
Which is great.
00:07:01
It's like, I love just meeting new people and it's like, we're all in there with a blank slate.
00:07:07
So and I really don't watch a lot of TV to even know, like, the mind of a gamer, like to, to even know what happens on Big Brother or what even what happens on Survivor and kind of what they're accustomed to.
00:07:22
So for me, I'm like, okay, these are just regular people.
00:07:24
Okay, Tony, the police officer, Jeremy, the fireman, you know, was it like Tony, the survivor winner or whatever, you know, whatever.
00:07:36
I feel like early in the game, Robin, I think the first instance where I really got to see your game was your clash with Wells, where you and Wells do agree on whether Durindo was the right choice for the traders or not.
00:07:52
What went down there between the two of you?
00:07:55
So Wells, it was, when he, I don't know, it was like, he got really uncomfortable when I came back at him and was like, no,
00:08:05
that was actually a really great pick by the traders.
00:08:09
It was super smart because they have us all confused and he just got real uncomfortable.
00:08:13
And what you didn't see was he got up and walked out of the room and I was like, oh, like that was where like the red flag really went off.
00:08:20
I'm like, oh, he's not, he's not ready to like have these conversations about the murder he committed last night.
00:08:29
And prior to that, Wells and I, we spent time in the, you know, spent, spent time like in the Jeep together, we actually interacted a lot and we had good conversations.
00:08:40
And so when his demeanor flipped and he wasn't able to really like engage in the conversation, I was like, okay, there's, there's something going on here.
00:08:48
So, you know, but it's funny, it's like when you, it's, it's, I've, I've been up traders viewer.
00:08:55
I love the traders.
00:08:56
I love the first two seasons and I'm sitting there as a viewer and I'm like, oh, my gosh, like, they're so stupid.
00:09:02
How can they not see that?
00:09:03
Like, what are they?
00:09:04
They can't be like, why?
00:09:05
It's so obvious.
00:09:06
But when you're in the game, we're looking at all 20 other people instead of the viewers are looking at, you know, the four traders, you're looking at the four traders behavior.
00:09:16
We're looking at 20 people's behavior and their people we might not have ever met before.
00:09:21
And so it's not as easy as it seems, but I'm, I hate that well, so yeah.

00:09:32
Hey, everybody.
00:09:33
Rob Cisternio here.
00:09:34
Welcome to 2025.
00:09:35
Now, if you're listening to RHAP, you know, we love a good survivor analogy and stepping into the new year is a little bit like drop your buffs on 2024 and put on the brand new buff of 2025 and start strategizing your best life.
00:09:50
And just like in survivor, you need a strong alliance to make all the difference.
00:09:55
A partner that's going to help you navigate challenges, form better strategies and come out on top when life tries to blindside you.
00:10:02
Personally, I found that therapy and talking with other people can help you learn positive coping skills, set healthy boundaries and basically outweigh outplay and outlast everyday stressors that try to vote you off the island,
00:10:15
whether you're dealing with big game changing twists or those sneaky social dynamics that can throw you off balance, having a therapist in your corner can make you feel like you've got an immunity idol for real life.
00:10:26
BetterHelp is fully online so it's convenient to fit into your schedule, no matter where you are.
00:10:31
That's why over 5 million people worldwide have turned to BetterHelp's diverse network of more than 30,000 credentialed therapists and it's easy to switch therapists if you need a different perspective with no extra cost.

00:10:50
Robyn, you were closing in on Boston Rob after he went after Bob the drag queen, but for Danielle and Carolyn, did you have any suspicions about them?
00:11:02
No, oh my gosh, they, I was so shocked when I found out that they were traitors, especially Carolyn,
00:11:12
because Carolyn, she would just be like, "Oh, I miss my dog," that was the, I have a good Carolyn impersonation,
00:11:24
"Oh, I miss my dog," like that was what she would say all the time.
00:11:30
So watching her, I'm like, "Wow, I don't know anything about her, but if that was part of her game, that was a really good game at that point in the game."
00:11:41
Danielle was so emotional and dramatic, you know, she would be all like, you know, stressed at the round table, like, "Oh,
00:11:51
like worried," like, like, hoping she made the right decision, and, you know, we're watching everyone's, every move, and I would see her just be so like, so stressed and worried,
00:12:02
and that, to me, wasn't a red flag.
00:12:05
It was like, "Damn girl, you're, you're really stressed over this game, like, it ain't curious."
00:12:11
And, and I think what a lot of us do, which probably is a mistake, is we put ourselves, like, what would I do if I was a trader?
00:12:20
And Danielle's behavior is not something I would do if I was a trader, and so that's why she was never on my radar.
00:12:29
You mentioned that you were looking at Rob coming, had you come into the, the round table, this upcoming night, who else were you looking at as potential traders at the time?
00:12:40
At that time, it was, I was, it was just Rob.
00:12:44
Like, I was zeroed in on him, because like, to me, that was like, it made the most sense.
00:12:51
And the theory of, "Oh, there were traders in the coffins that, that didn't make sense to me anymore, because I'm like, if I'm a trader, I'm not getting in that coffin and putting attention on myself."
00:13:03
And so, I had shifted off of that theory, and at the moment, you know, because nobody else was really standing out to me.
00:13:13
Rob was like, the only one that I was, I was, I was going to, I was going to get him, and so when I watched the round table, and I saw them, let him slide, I'm like, "Oh, if I was there,
00:13:24
he would have been done."
00:13:25
I know he would have, he would have, he would have been done, because no one really brought up Bob the drag queen's visceral reaction to him, you know?
00:13:35
And Bob the drag queen, like, pretty much saying, like, I do not lie.
00:13:39
I am not telling a lie, and so, I just, I knew I would have gotten him, I'm so mad I didn't.
00:13:47
Okay, so we know where the gamers are for the most part in the house, but could you tell us a little bit about the dynamics of what the rest of the relationships look like for the players who were the faithful from your vantage point?
00:14:01
Yeah, it was still very early in the game, so we were all just getting to know each other.
00:14:07
We did, we were able to, like, you know, at breakfast, get to know one another, find, learn about, you know, you're, "Oh, your kids, play basketball," or, you know, learning about Ivo's history and stuff like that,
00:14:20
and so, it was, you know, I'm sad that my time was cut short because I was starting to really get to learn everyone's just life, and that was probably one of my favorite parts about that,
00:14:33
it's just you're just meeting all these different people, and we're playing a game, and it's kind of weird because it's like, I might be talking to Brittany about whatever, you know, her children at home,
00:14:44
and I'm looking at Brittany, like, you're a traitor, though, like, you're, you know, you're sitting here and talking to me and we're having this good conversation, but you're really a traitor.
00:14:52
You know, it's like so, you can never really have, like, a full, open experience to anyone because you're, you're suspicious of everyone,
00:15:04
but the group was a great group.
00:15:06
We got along, we, you know, we're just kind of, like, happy to be there.
00:15:13
We were, you know, enjoying playing the game, but of course, everyone's in tennis, we're always up, so.
00:15:20
What were your impressions of the other two cage boys that came into the game a day late in Wes and Derek?
00:15:28
You know, I didn't know anything about them either, but I actually really respected them.
00:15:38
They seemed to be pretty level-headed and the things that they would say made sense.
00:15:43
And I actually did hear Wes say the same thing about Rob, Boston Rob being a traitor, like how would a traitor know.
00:15:52
And I really respected his take on that.
00:15:55
I felt like, and I knew, I felt Wes was a little more strategic or than Derek.
00:16:04
Derek to me, I appreciated his, his point of view because, you know, he, he works in the crime, the detective kind of, he's on a crime podcast.
00:16:15
And so he's like, in that field.
00:16:16
So I respected his opinion because it's like, okay, you know, like how to identify when someone's lying or whatever.
00:16:22
I mean, of course, when they added two people, I'm like, or three people, I'm like, come on.
00:16:28
I was like, it was already enough people here.
00:16:33
You know, you're counting the people and you're counting the days you have left.
00:16:37
And you're like, okay, I got a chance.
00:16:39
And then you add three more people.
00:16:40
But I did, I respected those guys.
00:16:43
I like, I like them as people and as additions to the cast.
00:16:47
I just, we just didn't need that many people.
00:16:50
Robin, was there anything that you saw or that you felt like that was a big deal while you were there that didn't make the episode that would be interesting for us to know about?
00:16:59
A big deal.
00:17:02
Not particularly fun that happened that we didn't get to see.
00:17:13
Um, I mean, okay, I do want to say I'm a little disappointed by the fact that they didn't show how hard I worked on that last mission,
00:17:24
bringing up those statues.
00:17:26
I actually, I'm really strong person for whatever reason.
00:17:29
There's no reason why I'm strong.
00:17:31
I just am.
00:17:32
And so I had to come in.
00:17:34
I had to help carry four statues up.
00:17:37
And when I watched the episode, it looks like I'm just walking up and down the hill.
00:17:41
Like, I don't even see my hands on one statue.
00:17:43
And I'm like, what in the world?
00:17:45
I had to like take over.
00:17:46
I took over for Bob Harper.
00:17:48
I took over for Bob the drag queen.
00:17:51
I took over for like three people.
00:17:53
I had my hands on four different statues that I was like, it looked like I was doing nothing.
00:17:59
So, you know, that was a little disappointing to me.
00:18:02
Um, trying to think and also during that mission, Bob the drag queen kept saying to me, he was getting angry with me.
00:18:08
He was like, you need a shield.
00:18:09
You need a shield.
00:18:11
Like, it was like, he knew they wanted to murder me.
00:18:13
And he kept telling you need a shield.
00:18:15
And I'm just like, oh, I got to help get these statues up.
00:18:18
Like, you know, because people were struggling.
00:18:21
And he got so angry with me because I was not, you know, running to get put to put my head on a statue.
00:18:29
Um, and then so after he was murdered, I mean, I'm sorry, after he was banished, I knew I was being murdered.
00:18:35
Like I knew I was going home.
00:18:37
