Dr. Arthur Holmes • This chapel address, delivered by the late Dr. Art Holmes ('50, MA '52; Professor of Philosophy, faculty 1951-1994), powerfully and eloquently restates the central conviction that guided him over the course of his 43 years of teaching at Wheaton. In this lecture – we might call it a sermon – Professor Holmes emphasizes that through Christ, all things, including our hearts, minds, and spirits, are being reconciled to God. The message features an introduction by the Arthur F. Holmes Professor of Faith and Learning: Dr. Roger Lundin '71, faculty since 1978.
