On this episode of the Violet Vibe we talk to born and bred Toowoomba girl Marita Ramia who landed her dream job as the news anchor of WIN Local News in the mid 2000s.
Her journey to becoming the face the Toowoomba community grew to love on their television screens every night started by printing scripts and even a stint as a journo in a news room headed by now LNP State Leader David Crisafulli.
Along the way she raised a family, juggling motherhood with a very public job. Marita talks about the influence the late Pat O'Shea had on her career and life and what it meant to spend each night beside him on the set.
