Pastor Nathaniel Flock joins hosts Jamie and Angela Lingerfelt and talks about the process of making his recent worship album. Nathaniel gives some great insight into the importance of waiting on God, and how that results in a greater weight of glory being released. Wrong motives, including selfish ambition, can cause us to get out of step with God. He plants dreams and visions in us, and we can abort those plans and purposes when we fail to wait on Him. We can also pervert those dreams and turn them into fantasies when we slip our own imaginations into them. God will give us a vision piece by piece, desiring to teach us how to walk with Him and trust Him as we wait on Him to fulfill the vision He has for us. God freely gives so much of Himself to us, but if we lose sight of who He is and who we are in Him we can mix the things of this world, such as our own selfish desires, into what He freely gives and then take that and run with it, believing that what we are pursuing is purely from God, when in fact it is tainted.
