Description

1. Why did the Apostle John use the Greek word logos to describe Jesus? What was its cultural and theological significance to John's readers? Why is understanding Jesus as the Logos important for us today?

2. The purpose statement of John is stated in John 20:31 — "...these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." What does believing in Jesus mean? How does belief in Jesus as the Logos shape the way we live?

3. The Christian life is often described by the word, "walk." How has your walk with Jesus been over the last several days, weeks, or months? Have you stumbled or stopped? Are you walking strong?
