Three-time All Star pitcher Heath Bell joins the show and shares his story of his attempt to be the Padres’ skipper, consulting his hitting coaches to become a better pitcher, and the psychology of an MLB closer. Heath then opens up about giving his live to God while a Padre, which resulted in transforming from a guy who “pitched with anger” to “pitching with God’s confidence”. Then, unbeknownst to Heath, his Christian walk  and self-control inspired fellow pitcher Anthony Bass to rest in God’s love instead of raging out after a bad outing. Heath’s advice: don’t just talk to God when things are bad, but also talk with him when things are going well. Remember, God is your Father, your mentor, your best friend… He is your family!
